Test of Metal Race & Events

The Test of Metal was an amazing series of mountain bike races that took place over 21 years in Squamish, BC

The primary race was Test of Metal, over 60 kilometres of off road mountain bike trails. With over 300 volunteers, and massive community turnout and support the race was a wonderful community festival which took place annually on the Father’s Day weekend.

Over the years, more races joined the Test of Metal Group of Events umbrella including the OreCrusher, GearJammer and Jabr.

Goodwin Creative was a sponsor of Test of Metal Group of Events for over a decade. We produced their maps, ads, posters, jersey designs, and other print material as well as their websites year after year.

In 2016 the organizers decided the time had come to put the franchise to bed. Mountain bike races still happen in Squamish, but there’s nothing like the Test of Metal - it is legend.
