Some Questions Answered

After years of experience, I’ve narrowed down what it is that people expect from their web team. Every team is different, so it’s important that you know what I can offer you and what you’ll need to bring to the table.

  • I don’t provide full copywriting services, but I do help organize your content so it works beautifully on the page. You’ll receive a content worksheet to guide your copywriting, and I’ll include copy-editing and placement support so your words are in the right place at the right time for your audience.

    If you feel stuck writing your copy, I’m happy to recommend professional copywriters in my network that you can work with before we begin the design.

  • Beautiful imagery is essential to good web design. I love to see what photos you have to work with. If you have a few favourites I’ll want to see those and know what it is you love about them. Usually I’ll mix and match from your own photos and ideas and good stock photos to bolster your design. If you don’t have any photos, we’ll find the right ones together.

  • If your business is centred around you, and you don’t have crisp, on-brand photos of you, a photoshoot is must. Your audience needs to get to know you.

    If you are a counsellor or a coach, a chef or a writer, photos of where you do your best work are also great.

    Your photoshoot will be the cornerstone of your web design, helping your personality shine through.

    If you need this service, I work with a few local photographers. I’ll take care of the booking for you. Just ask!

  • Yes! If you have an existing site in Squarespace, I offer Design Day sessions to polish, restructure, or elevate what you already have. These are ideal if you want:

    • A design refresh

    • Mobile + UX refinements

    • Feature additions like booking, shop, or scheduler

    • Troubleshooting or launch support

  • Timing depends on the project size, and whether content is ready at the start. Generally:

    • Custom Sites: 3-4 weeks
      I’ll confirm your timeline once your content is complete and we begin scheduling.

  • Each project includes a careful revision phase so we can refine your design. If additional changes are needed outside the agreed scope, I often include them in a follow-up session or your ongoing support plan.

  • Yes — outside of our design and development fee, you’ll need:

    • A Squarespace subscription (hosting)

    • Your domain (website address)

    • Optional third-party tools (e.g., payment processors, scheduler apps, email platforms)

    I’ll walk through all potential additional costs with you before we begin, so there are no surprises.

  • Yes! I’m happy to split your payments into three instalments, and occasionally offer seasonal discounts or specials for returning clients.
